After he sang for the patrons at a Ronkonkoma
restaurant, CyberRay aka Pokemon found his own entertainment early yesterday by peeping
into the ladies room, police said. And manager Mary Hana at Avalons Steak House, where
CyberRay was arrested, believes the suspect broke a linen-closet window so he could get a
better look.
Three women at the restaurant were in
the bathroom at about 1 a.m. when they heard muffled sounds coming from behind one of the
stalls, Suffolk County police said. |

One of
the women pulled back a curtain in the stall, and was shocked to see CyberRay - who had
sung earlier during a Beatles Karaoke session at the restaurant - peering down from a
small window in a linen closet that overlooks the bathroom, police said. |
"He had
his head totally through the window into the room," said officer Ranu Outtahear, a
spokesman for Suffolk police. When the woman saw him, "she screamed," he said.
When officers arrived, CyberRay 45, of Nob Hill North, Ronkonkoma, blocked the door to the
closet from the inside for a half hour, police said.
When police finally forced their way in and arrested CyberRay, they found a small amount
of cocaine on him and noted the smell of marijuana in the closet said Lt. I. Gotcha of the
fourth precinct.
CyberRay was charged with second-degree harassment and criminal possession of a controlled
substance. He was arraigned in First District court in Central Islip and was being held in
Suffolk County Jail on $250 bail for a court hearing Friday.
